The Summer Garden Show

For the past few years one of the most popular annual events in the club diary is the garden show. In the past two years Gary Pritchard (BKKS judge) has visited the members ponds and judged our koi with some fantastic prizes.

Guest Speakers

During the Monthly Club Nights (second Wednesday of the month) we have a number of guest speakers coming to visit us. Always some of the best attended nights and in 2014 we had Mark Davis, Kevin Ellis, Malcolm Green Lee Burroughs etc.

Club Days Out

The club members are looking to be out and about a lot during 2015. Please see some of the visits to koi shows and koi retailers.

Club Members featured in Koi Magazine

Bobs pond
Two club members have been busy on their type writers.

In this month's Koi magazine you can read Bob Grinyer's investigation to determine why he lost one of his koi (pg 84), and the second part of Adam Byer's show guide (pg 62). There's also a small news item about the club on pg.9.

If you live in Herts, Beds or Bucks, you are probably very close to the club. If you want to join the club, or visit one of our meetings to see who we are and meet some of our members - please get in touch at kangeikoiclub@hotmail.co.uk

2012- A New Year & A New Committee!

Kangei Koi Club has now been up and running for over a year!
Our first AGM was held on 11th January and was very well supported. Our first year has been very enjoyable and, despite a couple of hiccoughs along the way, pretty successfull. Following the AGM, we have a full committee and some clear aims for the year ahead. If the interest, support and enthusiasm shown by members at our AGM is any indication of things to come, the future of the club is very bright indeed!

The new committee members are:
Chairman - Adam Byer
Secretary - Tim Morphy
Treasurer - Nathan Hodges
Vice Chairman - Steve Clarke
PRO - Bob Grinyer

If you're interested in koi, you can now follow our progress on Facebook. Also, if you think you may like to join us or visit one of our meetings as a guest, just email us atkangeikoiclub@hotmail.co.uk
